Ordinary PDF templates downloaded from the web often rely on raster PNG images converted into PDF wrappers. When printed, raster lines blur, bleed, and deviate from actual measurement standards.

- Exact Point Interval: 5 mm × (72 pt / 25.4 mm) = 14.173228... pt. No rounding errors or pixel approximations.
- Line Thickness: 0.35 pt (0.123 mm) crisp vector strokes.
- Border Margins: 18 pt (0.25 in / 6.35 mm) print-safe clearance on top, bottom, left, and right.
- Symmetric Centering: Remaining margin space after fitting complete 5 mm squares is divided identically on opposite edges, keeping your work centered.

Follow these simple print instructions to ensure your printed 5 mm paper matches a physical ruler:
- Click Download PDF above to save the vector file to your device.
- Open the file in Adobe Acrobat Reader or modern web browsers.
- In the Print setup window, select Actual Size or set Scale to 100%.
- Disable “Fit to page” or “Shrink oversized pages” (which causes grid squares to shrink to ~4.7 mm).
- Measure across 10 squares with a ruler: the line-to-line distance should be exactly 50 mm.
